When doing wuzu does water need to enter the skin under the beard for wuzu to be valid?

Answer

It will suffice to pass the wet fingers through a thick beard. However, if a
person has a dense beard, then it is necessary for water to reach the skin
beneath the beard. (Shaami vol.1 pg.117)
