Is it permissible for one to use pig skin?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

According to Shari’ah, a pig is Najas (intrinsically impure) therefore it is impermissible for one to use pig skin.[1]
