Please define the following names for me.

Question

I would like to know the Islamic translation for the following names: Salim, Idris, Khalid, Reid, and Ahmed.

Answer

Salim - clean, pure
Idris - Teacher
Khalid - permanent
Reid - fast
Ahmed - the praised one
