If a person puts his ihram in Madina and makes Haj (ifrad) and he does not do Qurbani. Does he have to give dam if he is back in his country?

Question

If a person puts his ihram in Madina and makes Haj (ifrad) and he does not do Qurbani. Does he have to give dam if he is back in his country?

Answer

Answer:

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is better for a person performing ifrad to slaughter an animal; however, if he did not slaughter an animal a dam is not required.[1]
