How can one find out if Alcohol Denat is made up of grapes and dates or not?
Question
Assalm alaikum,
From your previous fatwaa, I understood that deodrant containing alchohal made of dates and grapes are prohibited.
when we see the ingredient part of the deodrant, it just says " Alcohal Denat". How can we find out this denatured alchohal is made up of dates and grapes or not?

You understanding is correct.
“Alcohol Denat” is not pure alcohol, rather it is synthetic alcohol. Therefore, it is permissible for one to use deodorants made from “Alcohol Denat”.
