Can I shave hair on the neck and spare the beard?

Question

I understand it is haram to shave the beard. However, is it permissible to shave the hair on the neck and to spare the beard on the face? JazakAllah

Answer

It is permissible to remove the hair from the neck.

#17564For medical reasons, my doctor has asked me to shave my beard for treatment. Alhamdullah, I have never touched the hair on my face. So my question is, is it permissable?
