Can I leave my wife for more than four months?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible to live without your wife for more than two months with her consent. A husband and wife living apart without divorce does not affect the validity of the Nikah
