Is my occupation permissible?
Question
I am a software engineer. I am working with a healthcare insurance based company of USA.
Is it permissible to work with it? I am not dealing with any insurance policies. I am working in the software development division of the company.
Answer
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.
It is permissible for you to work as a software engineer with a healthcare insurance company. [1]
