Are men allowed to shave their legs, chest and back?

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ῾alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh. 

It is permissible for men to shave the hair of the legs, chest and back. However, it is undesirable to do so.[1]
