Can we forward messages from mobiles especially Quran?

Question

Can we forward or send messages from mobiles based on Islam, especially Quranic ayat and Ahadis?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu ‘alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible to send messages which contain verses of the Quran or Ahādīth. If done with the intention of disseminating Islamic knowledge one will be rewarded.[1] One should ensure that the information is from a source which is verified to be authentic.
