Is it ok to let the baby cry for discipline reason? what is the right of the baybe on her mother? jazakallah khair

Question

the pediatician said that you should discipline the baby ,like put her to bed at a certain time and if she cries ,let her cry!because she will learn to put herself to sleep!what to do if the baby doesn't want to sleep alone need attention .

Answer

The mother should apply her discretion in the need to discipline her baby.
If the child is crying for no apparent reason, she may adopt any method,
ignoring the child, etc. in order to discipline the child.
