I wanted to know if it is permissible for a man to be at the side of his wife during childbirth?

Answer

In the name of Allāh, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh

It is permissible for a man to be at the side of his wife during childbirth.

And Allāh Ta῾āla Knows Best
