Question

who does qurbaani go to,who do you share it out to,is it the poor

Answer

In the name of Allāh, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh

The Qurbāni meat should be consumed by oneself, one’s relatives/friends, the poor and needy. Preferably one third should be given in charity; however, there is no sin if one gives less than one third in charity.
