She is scared to stay with her father in law and brother in law alone
Question
my husband is staying in dubai. .. he has got 1 elder brother who is unmarried . my husband wants me to stay along with my brother in law and father in law in india . i refused to stay with my brother-in-law and father - in-law. and now iam with my parents . wat should i do acordindto shariyat.
Answer
In the name of Allāh, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh
In principle, it is the duty of a husband to provide shelter for his wife where she will have her privacy. In the absence of the husband, If she is scared to stay with her father in law and brother in law then she may demand a separate place (i.e. a separate room, washroom and a kitchen). It will be compulsory upon the husband to provide her these facilities where she will be comfortable. For now she may stay with her parents until he provides appropriate arrangements.
