I made love to my husband during menses a few times. I know that its forbidden to hav sexual intercourse during menstruation. Do i have to pay a kuffarah for doing that? And ask Allah foir forgiveness.

Assalāmu ῾alaykum wa Rahmatullāhi Wabarakātuh

Merely making love (caressing, fondling and kissing etc.) with one’s spouse during menses is permissible. However, any direct skin contact or deriving any form of pleasure from between the navel and knees during menses is prohibited.^[1]
