I have a friend who got asthma while during the day of fasting can we take Ventoline Inhalaor will it b effect on fasting or can he allow to do that

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

Since Ventolin Inhaler contains medication, it will break the fast.  If you get an asthma attack while fasting and no other alternative is available, you may take the Ventolin Inhaler and make up the fast afterwards.  There will not be any kaffārah.
