Why is it that Eid Fitr falls on different month in the Christian Calender? Don't Islamic calender have 365 days, 12 months?

Answer

Our Islamic calendar is calculated according to the lunar system. One month is either 29 or 30 days unlike the Gregorian calendar which has 28, 29, 30 and 31 days.
