Can men straighten their hair?

Question

Assalamualaikum Mufti Sahib You have answered the question in terms of a hair straightener for women, as being valid. Does this also apply to men. There are many ways to straiten hair, one way is to use a comb like device which uses steam to straiten. A reply would me greatly appreciated. Jazakallah Khayr.

Dear respected brother in Islam,

It is permissible for males to use hair strighteners to strighten their
hair.
