Do you have to recite ayyahs or hadith when inviting to Islam?

Question

What if you don't know authentic proofs from quran and Sunnah for convincing a kaffar do you continue? How to always have proof in words when convincing?

Answer

It is not necessary to know and quote the actual verses and hadith when inviting to Islam. one may invite to Islam by explaining one's proper and correct understanding of Islam, verses of the Quran and Ahadith.
