Until Iqamat reaches to "Ashado Anna Muhammadar Rasool ullah", is it according to the Sunnat or it is biddat?

Question

In Masajid, at the procession of any Salat, Imam is sitting in front of Muqtadees, until Iqamat reaches to "Ashado Anna Muhammadar Rasool ullah", is it according to the Sunnat or it is biddat.
