Why is it Haram to listen to songs?
Question
why is it haram to listen to songs.???
i am 16 yrs male
i dont really see anything wrong with it, infact it help you stop doing some other bad things as it relaxs you.
the music i listen to has decent lyrics in it , english and indian, i also sing sometimes as i stay inside most of the time i dont go out much as im lazy haha.
please could you tell me very informative yet in basic words why it is forbidden.
