Is there mention of any other religions?

is there any mention of other religions or other parts of the world apart from middle east ,Europe, Asia and Africa as an atheist says that Muhammad (saw) knew only of these places. meaning he wrote the qur’an and he did not know of the existence of the rest of the world and other religions? (please help)

We do not understand the relevance of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم not knowing the rest of the world with him writing the Quran? Kindly elaborate.
