Is it permissable to use fruits and vegetables as beauty products?

Question

Is it permissable to use fruits and vegetables as beauty products? For example can we make face scrubs using fruit or would this be considered as wasting the fruit that Allah has given us for the purpose to eat.

It is permissible to use fruits and vegetables as beauty products like face scrubs etc.
