Threading the eyebrows

Question

The THREADING of eyebrows have become a common practice among muslim females. Is the removing of the eyebrows(with the use of cotton)permitted in islam?

Answer

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatuh

It is prohibited to remove eyebrows in any way, by shaving, using cotton, etc.
