Does the Fast break by water in ears, forgetting niyah or swollowing phlegm
Question
1. if water goes through your ears, does your whudu break
2. if we unintentionally forget to make a niyyah to fast but our intentions was to fast, is the fast valid
3. are we allowed to swallow flem?
Answer
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh
1.The fast does not break by water entering the ears.
2.The fast will be valid as the intention in the heart is what is considered.
3.It is permissible to swallow phlegm while fasting.
