I'm Working in a Bank for the last 13 yrs. I'm willing to leave this job but unable to find another as yet.
Question
I'm Working in a Bank for the last 13 yrs. I'm willing to leave this job but unable to find another as yet. I'm afraid to do some other illegle work if i left this job. Other thing is I've a debt of about four lac of bank to pay, which i've no other source.
Please guide what should i do.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh
You may continue your employment at the conventional bank until you find an adequate alternate halal employment. You should make abundant Istighfaar while you continue your employment at the conventional bank. Also make dua to Allah to open your doors for a halal and Shariah compliant source of income. Recite the following dua after every fardh salah.
الّهُمَّ اَغنِنِى بِفَضلِكَ عَمَّن سِوَاك
“Allahuma Aghneenee bi Fadhlika `Am-man Siwaak”
Oh Allah, (grant me) independence by your virtue for anything besides you.
