The vow of kheer puri

Question

can mufti saheb please explain what is kheer puri? some one told my mother about it. i told her its bid'ah , can mufti saheb please explain further. they make a vow/wish and eat kheer and puri. these people say that Hazrat Jaafar RA will be held responsible if this vow is not fulfilled.

The vow of kheer puri has no basis in Shariah. It is an act of bidah. It is a sin to make such a vow and carry it out.
