Is it permissible to have sex with wife when she is pregnant? If yes, then are there any precautions that one must take?

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

It is permissible to be intimate with one’s wife whilst she is pregnant. However if there is any fear of harm in doing so, then one should exercise caution and refrain from intimacy. (Fatawaa Mahmoodiyya, vol 17, 388)
