Respected mufti sahab! would you please tell me the authentiity of the following Durood Sharif,

"Allahuma Salli Ala Sayyidina Muhammadin Wa'Ala Aali Muhammadin Bi Adadi Qataraatil Amtaar."

I have received a message about this Durood Sharif that whoever recite this Durood during rain, a NEKI will be rewarded against each drop of rain. i want to verify the authenticity. Please help.

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

We cannot locate the Hadith and therefore cannot comment regarding its authenticity. However, the wordings of the Durood are appropriate.
