Zakaat on clothes?

Question

Are we suppose to pay zakaat on used clothes or on clothes which we rarely wear? In either case, please tell us how many pairs of clothes should be paid in zakaat for a certain number of clothes we possess, etc.?

Answer

There is no Zakaat on ones basic needs for example personal clothing.
