I want to know the meaning of Quraisyah.Is it advisable to name a baby with that name?

Assalaamu `alaykum waRahmatullahi Wabarakatoh

The word Quraisyah is an Arabic word and it means life. It is permissible to keep such a name. However it is advisable to keep names of Ambiyaah (alayhimus salaam) Sahaba and Sahabiyaah (Radiallahu Anhum) or pious predecessors ( Lisaanul Arab, vol 5, pg 232)
