my question is that during pregnancy tests are done that show that the baby mite have problems, the problem i want to ask about is downs syndrome...if the mother and father find out at 20 weeks after pregnancy that the baby has got downs syndrome can they decide not to have the baby?? what does islam has to say about this??

It is not permissible to terminate a pregnancy from 120 days onwards. You may refer to our detailed article on abortion on this site.
