What type of gum is haram?

What type of gum is haram? I have heard that haram material is used to make gum. If it is haram, is there halal gum (please name it) and why is the gum haram.

There are different types of gums. Chewing gums, adhesives etc. what type of gum are you referring to?

In principle, if a chewing gum contains haraam ingredients it is not permissible to chew it.
