my second husband never love me
Question

aslam o aliekum
my name is summera a iam 38 years old i have been married twice . my second husband never love me and nor ful fil my any domestic requirements he is a narrow mind person and always use abuse attitude with me i have 13 years old child from my first husband but he want me to gv him back to my first husband i left my first husband in many crises he is a drug aducted person. i have no child from my second husband bcs i have no ability to concive . my question is this that my husband is in army and been posted to lahore as iam living in karachi he has divorced his first wife and he has a son .mufti sahib i want to do istikhara to decide to continue my life with him or take khula ... shal i can make istikhara bcs he always hurt me and some time hit me for nothing.. me and my child are very upsent he comes every end of the month for two to three days to spend with me . his parents also not like me . plz advice me iam not in peace nor i can concentrate on my job iam losing health i have no one to look after my child and me acept Allah.

May Allah grant you peace and happiness aameen.
If your husband is providing you with your rights, shelter, food and clothing, then you should make sabr. Your ex husband is the father of your child and he has the right of custody. If he has bad habits and that will be detrimental to the proper upbringing of your child then he does not have the right of custody. If your husband is ill treating you, and hitting you, you should make istikara and if you are guided and feel that you should not live with him, then request for divorse or make khula.
