i have a male hindu friend who hasnt mentioned anything about conversion to islam.he's not too religious in his on religion and a few times he has asked me questions regarding islam

Question

i have a male hindu friend who hasnt mentioned anything about conversion to islam.he's not too religious in his on religion and a few times he has asked me questions regarding islam. i want to know if its ok to pray for this friend for Allah to show him the right path and if there is any dua i can read to help him as im a firm believer that nothing happens unless u try and i want this friend to come to islam and maybe inshallah he will become a good muslim and an influence to others - please help so i can help my friend. And please mention any duas too. May Allah bless you and this site.

Brother/Sister in Islam

It is not clear whether you are a male or a female. If you are a male you should assist the person to understand Islam. You should also make Dua for him. If you are a female, then refer the person to a reliable Muslim male to assist him. You can make general Dua of guidance for non Muslims.
