After birth of my baby - I was in nifaas for 40 days. The first 3 weeks I was bleeding then slowly brown blood was coming out.
Question
Dear Mufti Saab
After birth of my baby - I was in nifaas for 40 days. The first 3 weeks I was bleeding then slowly brown blood was coming out.
At 40 days - there was faint light blood. on Day 41 - Bleeding started with red blood. This lasted 7 days.
Please can you advise if the days after 40 days is instihadha or menstruation..??

The bleeding after the 40 days of Nifaas is Istihaada.
