Question
Aslam u Alaikum last year my friend did nikah in front of 2 male witnesses only ijab qubool was done contract was signed even a mahr was paid to her by her husband but due to their circumstances they can not announce their nikah now the husband is having doubts about the nikah being valid you please tell us is their nikah valid keeping in mind it was only the four of them and no wali or imam was present

The Nikah was valid, if the Ijab (Proposal) and Qubool (acceptance) both were in the past or present tense.
