It is permissible to have a therapeutic massage

Question

Asalaamu alaikum

Would it be permissible to have a theraputic massage in the month of Ramadaan? This would be with a certified therapist/physio.

Brother/Sister in Islam

It is permissible to have a therapeutic massage whilst fasting. As far as possible the therapist should be of the same gender.
