Are non Muslims allowed to enter the Masjid to witness the Nikah ceremony?

Question

I have reverted about a year ago and the girl i am going to marry insha allah has also reverted about the same time. We would like to have the nikah as soon as possible. The problem that we have is that the her father and uncles are non-muslims. We would prefer that her father and another relative witness the nikah. Are they allowed to enter the masjid to witness the nikah?

Answer

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

As-salāmu 'alaykum wa-rahmatullāhi wa-barakātuh.

It is permissible for the non-Muslim relatives to come to the Musjid on condition they wear appropriate clothing and respect the sanctity of the Musjid.

And Allah Ta'ala Knows Best
