Is this marriage valid, permissible and good according to Islam and god even if he converts and believes in it but doesn’t practice.
Question
Is this marriage valid, permissible and good according to Islam and god even if he converts and believes in it but doesn’t practice.
I am a Muslim girl met a non-Muslim man, we fell in love with each other, we think we are a perfect match, he wants to convert to Islam so we can get married, he believes in Islam but I am not sure if he will practice, is this valid, permissible and good according to Islam and god even if he converts and believes in it but doesn’t practice.
Answer
If a non-Muslim man accepts Islam, he is a Muslim and in principle, it will be permissible for you as a Muslim woman to marry the man.
The man should be advised that the mere reversion to Islam is not sufficient. He should also practise on Islam. He should also be assisted to be able to practise on Islam.
