Is it a sin to call the sister by her name as someone said to call sister by her name is sin for the wife and husband

Question

I would like to ask if there is a gathering for sisters and a male is helping out at the end of the event and he calls the sister by her name and tells her to leave everything and us males will finish it all.  Is it a sin to call the sister by her name as someone said to call sister by her name is sin for the wife and husband.  Can you please advise

Answer

It is not a sin for the husband to call his wife by her actual name. Rasulullah [sallallaahu alayhi wasallam] used to address his wives by their names.
