Question
Is it sifficient to read the first 3 ayats of surah yaseen in one rakah?
Also is it permisseble to divide ayat al kursi in 2 and read in 1st and 2nd rakat? Where should ayat al kursi be divided?
Answer
It will be permissible to recite the first 3 Aayaats of Surah Yaseen as the minimum requirement is 3 Aayaats, (Shaami vol.1 pg.458; HM Saeed)
It is permissible to divide Aayaatul Kursi into 2. At least, 18 letters must be read in each Rakaat. (Ibid pg.459)
