What does the hadith, "Black seed oil has a cure for every disease except death" mean?

Question

I have known this hadith for a long time. I want to know if in this oil there really is a cure for every disease or was it a way of saying that "its good for your general health"?

Answer

The oil is derived from the actual black seed. In essence the oil is black seed in liquid form. The same benefit will also apply with the oils.
