Question

Some body said but I am not sure about the name he may be referring to Imam Shaafi or may be Imam Hanbil or may be Imam Malik Rehmatullahalihay that trimming of beard less than a fist is not haram / mukrooh tehreemi. in there fiqh. Is it true?

Answer

This is not true. It is compulsory to keep the beard until a fist length and it is prohibited to cut or trim the beard lesser than that. Find attached.
