Husband purchased currencies and travellers cheques on wife's passport with his money.

Question

After seperation the wife claims the money to be hers.Who will be the rightfull owner of the currencies and travellers cheque's?

Answer

If the husband purchased the currencies and traveller’s cheques with his money, he will be the owner of the money even though it was taken out on the wife’s passport. It is incorrect for the wife to claim the money.
