What is the status of the hadeeth: "Verily You shall open Constantinople.

Question

What is the status of the hadeeth: "Verily You shall open Constantinople. Its leader is good and so is that army."

Answer

The Hadith, ‘Verily, you shall conquer Constantinople, the best leader is its (the army’s) leader and that army is the best army. (Jaamius sagheer Hadith7227).

This Hadith is reported in Mustadrak Haakim and has been classified Sahih by Imaam al-Dhahabi. (Mustadrak Haakim vol.4 pg.468 Hadith8300)
