Question
I have many old music CD's, video tapes, DVD's, video games, etc. that I have, Alhamdu-Lillah stop indulging in. I wanted to know if I can sell all these things to someone and use the money as Sadaqah or Musjid or to buy Islaamic books, etc.
If I sell these things, will it count as Haraam income.
If I sell these things, will it count as Haraam income.
Answer
If you sell these items, the income would be Haraam. You should give this in charity without the intention of reward from Allah Ta’ala.
