What is the total number of days of menstruation,10 days and night or 15 days and night?

Answer

According to the Hanafi Madhab, the minimum number of days for menstruation is three and the maximum is ten. In other words, minimum is 72 hours and maximum is 240 hours.

The minimum for Tuhr (purity) is fifteen days and there is no limitations on the maximum.

#103821. menstruation lasts for 8 to ten. in Ramadaan had bleeding for 9 days. On day 10 one fasts, some bleedding occurs on day11. Does one have to make qada of day10 fast in which no bleeding was seen?
