Question

a person on our website has asked while traveling or on a journey, can we pray salah behind an imam who happens be to be clean shave. What do we do in such a situation?

Answer

According to Shariah, if there are other musallis in the congregation that have a Shari’e beard, the imaamat of the clean shaven person will be makrooh. However, the salaah behind him will be valid.
