Question

A very close family friend has suffered from total kidney loss. She is a young woman, in dire need of a transplant without it she will die. She is also a Christian. Is it allowed for me to donate one of my kidneys to her?

Answer

It is permissible for you to donate one of your kidneys to the family friend on condition that is for free. Furthermore, by doing so, your health should not be affected by donating your kidney.
